Copyright & DMCA

Running a website means taking responsibility for what gets published. At Clarity Explained, we take that seriously.

Most of what you read here is written from scratch by our team. When we reference outside work, we try to credit it properly and use images or material that are licensed for reuse. Even so, the internet is messy sometimes, and mistakes can happen.

If you believe something on this site uses your work without permission, please let us know. We’re not interested in arguing for the sake of it — we want to understand the situation and fix problems when they’re real.

How We Handle Copyright Issues

When someone contacts us about a possible copyright concern, we:

  • Read the message carefully
  • Look at the material in question
  • Check how it was sourced or created
  • Temporarily remove it if needed while we review
  • Make changes or take it down if the claim turns out to be valid

Our goal is simple: handle things fairly and move quickly.

What to Include in Your Message

If you’re reporting a copyright issue, it really helps if you include:

  • A short description of the work you own
  • The exact page on our site where it appears
  • Your name and how we can reach you
  • Why you believe the material shouldn’t be here
  • A note confirming that what you’re saying is true to the best of your knowledge

That gives us enough to actually investigate instead of going back and forth.

Where to Contact Us

You can send copyright concerns through our contact page, or by email at:

copyright@clarityexplained.com

(Replace this with your real email before publishing.)

Put “copyright” or “DMCA” in the subject line so it lands in the right inbox.

If Something Was Taken Down by Mistake

Occasionally, content gets removed because of a misunderstanding.

If that happens to you, write to us and explain what was removed, where it used to live on the site, and why you think the decision was wrong. We’ll take another look.

A Quick Note on Honest Requests

We expect people to contact us in good faith.

Sending false or misleading copyright claims isn’t okay and can cause problems for everyone involved.

Updates to This Page

As the site grows, this page may change. If we update it, the newest version will always appear here.

One Last Thing

Clarity Explained exists to help people understand how the world works. That only works if we respect creators too.
